Seaford car thief arrested after driving over woman’s leg

A car thief from Seaford arrested after driving over a womans foot. According to Seaford Police Their investigation began on January 9th, after a hit-and-run on a parked vehicle. Officers located the suspect car later, learning that it was a stolen car from North Carolina and developed a suspect, William Witherspoon, of seaaforsd.. Then, on January 16th a woman reported her car stolen. She told officers she tried to confront the thief, but he drove over her foot to get away. The next day Geogretown Police located the stolen car, being driven by William Witherspoon, of seaford. He was detained and transported back to Seaford where he was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, vehicular assault and other charges. in Departmentof Correction custody in lieu of $8000 secured bond
