A Smyrna man faces 15 years to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder in the 2015 death of his wife, Keisha Hamilton.  DOJ officials say as part of his plea, 35 year old Cortez Hamilton was required to provide the location of her body – which had not been found.  After Hamilton killed her – he took their two children and was arrested in Indiana after a nationwide Amber Alert was broadcast.  Remains were recovered last week on Mount Friendship Road west of Smyrna and have been turned over the Division of Forensic Science for positive identification.  Cortez Hamilton is scheduled for sentencing on March 28th.
