State Fire Marshal Investigating House Fire in Georgetown Area

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating a house fire that occurred early this morning on Shortly Road. The Georgetown Fire Company, Millsboro Fire Company, Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department, and Georgetown EMS/Station 93, responded to the scene shortly after 6:00. Crews found a two-story wood frame home fully involved. DelDOT assisted in the overhaul process, helping to extinguish hotspots.
