Seaford Police report that a vehicle struck a city electric pole on Virginia Avenue near the intersection of School Lane knocking out power just after 2am. City electric personnel were quickly on the scene and restored power just before 6am. Virginia Avenue and School Lane were reopened to traffic just after 9am.
