Talbot County Sex Offender on Parole – Arrested for Accessing & Viewing Child Porn

A registered sex offender has been arrested following an investigation into child pornography. Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33 year old Thomas Nash of Easton, who is charged with 16 counts of accessing and viewing child pornography. The Sheriff’s Office received information from a Maryland Division of Parole and Probation agent about Nash’s internet activity.

Nash was paroled from prison in March after serving 30 months of a 5-year sentence for possession of child pornography and registered as a sex offender as required by law. As part of the parole arrangement, Nash consented to electronic monitoring of his internet browsing activity.

An arrest warrant was obtained and Nash was arrested at the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office on Monday and is scheduled for a bail review at 1 this afternoon.
