Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/14/26
Wednesday, we had small craft advisories up and no boats ventured out into the ocean or Delaware Bay.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported big bluefish were caught from the Indian River Inlet. I suspect that metal lures were used along with bucktails and plugs.
Beginning on Memorial Day, May 25th, you will need to make a reservation to drive on Gordons Pond, Herring Point, Navy Crossing and Point Crossing at Cape Henlopen State Park as well as 3Rs Road between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This is in addition to your annual Delaware Seashore surf fishing permit. All other surf fishing drive-on access points do not require reservations. Reservations begin on May 19th for Saturday May 23rd.
