Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/02/26

Monday, we had small craft advisories up all day, but anglers found a way to fish around them.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said spot and croaker were caught from the Broadkill River on bloodworms and Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina had the most surprising report. Captain Brent on the Katydid ignored the weather and ran to ocean structure to catch a boat limit of black sea bass.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us a few blues were caught on cut mullet Sunday night. On Monday it was croaker on bloodworms and short flounder on minnows.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Judy V had sea bass, croaker and two flounder on her morning trip. Another boat had black drum off of Broadkill Beach. They cleaned a striper from the Inlet.
