Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/07/26

Saturday was another beautiful summer day at the beach with good fishing.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us blues and trout were caught from Broadkill Beach with the blues taking cut mullet and the trout going for bloodworms.

Lewes Harbour Marina saw some keeper flounder taken from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal on minnows. The charter fleet ran up Delaware Bay looking for black drum.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said a 35-inch bluefish was caught on a surface lure from the beach alongside the pier. Blues, spot, croaker and flounder were caught from the pier.

Old Inlet told us blues were taken on metal during incoming water and from the beach on cut mullet.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said sea bass and flounder were caught by half and all-day boats.
