Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/22/26

Sunday, we had very nice weather, but neither Lewes Harbour Marina nor Hook ’em and Cook ‘em were available via phone. Unfortunately, the good weather did not bring about good fishing.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us a few spot and croaker were caught at Broadkill Beach on bloodworms, Fishbites, squid and shrimp. Spot were taken from the Broadkill River by folks fishing with bloodworms or Fishbites.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported that it was a slow day on the pier. Some spot and croaker were caught by anglers soaking bloodworms or Fishbites.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle had reports from Indian River Inlet where striped bass were caught at night. Kings were caught from the beach on bloodworms and Fishbites.
