Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/10/26

Thursday, we had better sea conditions on the ocean.

Steve at Smith Bait in Lepsic said slot striped bass were caught on peeler crab at the Augustine Wall. Out in Delaware Bay, the reef sites and oyster beds produced flounder, croaker and blues. Live minnows for the flounder. Bloodworms or Fishbites for the croaker. Cut bait or shiny metal jigs for the blues. At the Bowers Beach Jetty, croaker and small stripers have been caught on bloodworms or Fishbites.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us croaker and flounder were caught out of the Broadkill River.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported the charter boat Amanda Lou brought in 3 flounder and 15 sea bass from ocean structure.

Old Inlet said croaker, triggerfish, sheepshead and bluefish were caught from the Inlet on Thursday.
