Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/31/26

Sorry to say I missed the very first Dockside & Indian River Marina Classic held on August 21-23 and attracting 58 teams. They fished on Saturday and Sunday and in the end there was a tie in the Flounder Division with Top Notch and Tootsie Chick both landing 8-pound flounder. They each received $16,000. The Mahi Division was won by Reel Therapy with a 26.24-pound mahi worth $24,000 while Reel Nauti came in second with a 20.4 pounder that paid $16,000. No tuna were weighed in so that $30,000 was divided between the mahi and the flounder divisions.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid had flounder and sea bass, the Chasin’ Tail had flounder and the Angler had flounder and croaker.
