Tuesday Morning Crash on Harbeson Road Sent Two to an Area Hospital
A crash just after 9:30 Tuesday morning sent two people to an area hospital. Delaware State Police tell the Talk of Delmarva that a Kia Soul was stopped at the stop sign on Cool Spring Road but failed to remain stopped and began to enter Harbeson Road and collided with the driver’s side fuel tank of a dump truck that was southbound on Harbeson Road.
The driver of the Kia, a 77 year old woman and 79 year old male passenger – both from Millsboro – were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was cited for failure to remain stopped at a stop sign.
The driver of the dump truck, a 40 year old Salisbury man, was not injured.
The roadway was closed while fuel from the dump truck was cleaned up.
