Two members from the Delaware Emergency Management Agency have left for Hawaii for a 30-day Emergency Management Assistance Compact mission to Kauai.  Kauai saw over 50 inches of rain in a 24 hour period in April – and emergency management officials have been working on recovery from floods, landslides and mudslides that have caused millions of dollars worth of damage.  They will be working with local and federal officials managing the Presidential Disaster declaration.
