UPDATED: Dover Police Arrest 2 for June Shooting in Emerald Pointe Community

UPDATED – 08/04/26 – Dover Police have arrested two suspects after a shooting in June on Topaz Circle in the Emerald Pointe community. Police were called just before 5am on June 13th and found that multiple shots were fired into an occupied residence. There were three people inside the home at the time – no injuries reported. Investigators documented at least 21 strikes to the residence and recovered 24 shell casings. Police arrested 18 year old Tyion Bailey of Dover on Saturday. Bailey faces several offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Reckless Endangering First Degree (3 counts)
- Criminal Mischief Over $5,000
Bailey is being held at SCI in default of a $69,000 cash bond.
On Monday police obtained an arrest warrant for a 16 year old male from Dover – who was already in custody at Stevenson House on unrelated charges. He was charged with multiple offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Reckless Endangering First Degree (3 counts)
- Conspiracy Second Degree
- Criminal Mischief Over $5,000
The 16 year old also remains in custody.

ORIGINAL STORY – 06/15/26 – Dover Police are investigating a shooting incident at a residence on Topaz Circle in the Emerald Pointe community that occurred on Saturday, June 13 just before 5am. Police found multiple rounds were fired at a residence that was occupied by a 66 year old male, 51 year old female and a 20 year old male. No injuries were reported but the home was struck at least 21 times. Multiple spent shell casings were recovered from a nearby property.
