Monday saw small craft advisories up for the ocean with seas of three to five feet.

Over the weekend Old Inlet Bait and Tackle held their 22nd Annual Seashore Fall Surf Fishing Classic.  Floyd “Morty” Morton took first place in the Open Division with 150 points winning $800 and a bronze trophy.  Donna Guttridge was first in the Woman’s Division with 34 points.  She won $200 and a Nicole Born rod.  First in the Kid’s Division was Logan Wierzbicki with 12 points.  He won a surf rod and reel and a trophy.  The Grand Slam Prize went to Brian Hafer for catching three different species.  He won an Okuma rod and reel.  The largest fish of the tournament was an 18-inch blue caught by Matt Vinson and worth $500.  Matt also won the Bluefish Calcutta worth $2,210.
