WGMD Fishing Report 10-15-18

On Monday there were small craft advisories flying during the day with gale warnings posted in the evening.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina told us that Steve Warren caught a limit of flounder to 19.75 inches plus a nice-sized speckled trout out of Roosevelt Inlet on fresh mullet.  On Sunday Liam Emmert fished with his dad Will, Francis Walsh and Jason King on the Lightning Boat catching more than his share of sea bass on clams at the Del-Jersey-Land Reef.  Jason DeStafney, Brad Young and Mike Williamson had a boat limit of sea bass using clams on ocean structure.  The Harpoon Fishing Club took a trip to Delaware Bay on the Angler for a mixed bag of blues, sea bass, blowfish and trout.  The Miss Kirstin found a mixed bag of sea bass, triggerfish, blues and kings for her party on Sunday.

Old Inlet said blues were caught from the beach and inlet while small tog continue to take sand fleas and green crabs from the rocks.
