WGMD Fishing Report 10-18-18
Thursday saw more wind and more small craft advisories on the bay and ocean. It looks like Friday will be the only fishable day of the weekend.
Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said no boats went out and no fish hit the cleaning table. He did say several boats were planning to sail on Friday.
Lauren at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said while none of her boats went out they did see one flounder caught at the inlet.
Clark at Old Inlet said nothing has changed. The inlet and the beach are both covered up with blues to 16 inches on cut mullet.
This weekend is the 4th Annual Boo-Que held on the Southside of the Inlet. Friday will see the Kansas City Barbeque Competitors put on a spooky evening with trick or-treat for the kids along with a kids costume contest. Saturday is the Barbeque Contest from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. In addition there will be live music, kid’s activities and food from various vendors. Since Saturday looks like another blowout you might as well come on out to this event.
