WGMD Fishing Report 11-20-18

Tuesday was a tad windy and, to the best of my knowledge, only one boat left the dock.

At Lewes Harbour Marina, Tommy said Deb Greirson from Lewes caught an 11.5-pound rockfish from the surf at the Point on Cape Henlopen State Park on Monday using a chunk of bunker for bait.  A private boat fished with live eels at the Prissy Wicks Shoal and the Eights than up the beach to Sea Isle City catching only spiny dog sharks.  Another private boat fished the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers catching lots of shorts and two 16-inch keepers.  Captain Cary Evans on the Grizzly had similar luck with his party catching 90 tog with only 14 keepers to 6.75 pounds on Monday.  On Tuesday he did a little better bringing in 22 keepers to 7.25 pounds.

In Ocean City, Maryland the Fish Bound brought in 28 tog after releasing two 14 pounders that were the largest females.  One of the 14 pounders was caught on a one-ounce jig and 15-pound line.
