WGMD Fishing Report 11-24-18

To the best of my knowledge, no boats sailed on Saturday and I don’t think any will be going out on Sunday.  Small craft advisories are up for Sunday and it looks like they will be up for Monday as well.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina had the names of the citation winners on the Katydid’s Friday trip.  Dan McDermott had the 8.14 pounder, Brett Curtis weighted in the 7.53 pounder and Chris Vann had the 8.05-pound tog.  My question is, who netted Chris’s fish since he is the mate?  I had another report of big rock caught at the Eights on Friday, but could not confirm the story.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle, Clark said a few short rock were caught from the beach at the Point, but otherwise the surf was barren.  Short tog once again dominated action at the Inlet.

Lauren from Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em did not have any report from the boats that ran offshore from Indian River Marina on Friday.  Either they didn’t catch anything or they didn’t report their catch to the office.
