WGMD Fishing Report 11-30-18

mark-levin-promo

Friday saw lighter winds, but the water was still dirty after being stirred up from all the gale-force winds.  Several boats did manage to get out with mixed results.

We had several unconfirmed reports of rockfish caught at the Eights and off of Wildwood, New Jersey.  No one I spoke with had seen the fish so I cannot confirm they were caught.  With decent weather promised for today I expect more boats to work this area and perhaps take a photo of these mystery fish.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Top Fin fished the Outer Wall and brought back a few tog.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle, Clark told us small rock and tog were caught out of Indian River Inlet.  Sand fleas or green crabs for the tog and bucktails or shads for the rock.

Lauren at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Michael D had 40 pounds of sea bass and the No Limit had four tog and two sea bass.  Three private boats brought in 24, 20 and 10 pounds of sea bass.

With cleaner water I do expect better catches on Saturday.
