Sunday saw a break in the weather and a few boats were able to fish ocean structure.  Monday already has small craft advisories posted.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid had a good catch of tog and sea bass.  The largest tog weighed 8.08 pounds and the largest sea bass tipped the scales at 3.62 pounds.  A private boat came in with a good catch of tog and another boat caught 35 white perch from the Broadkill River.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they said the hard northwest wind on Saturday left the water in the surf dirty.  Therefore no fish were caught from the beach on Sunday.  Small tog with a few keepers have been caught at Indian River Inlet on sand fleas and green crabs.

Diana at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the head boat was able to find some sea bass and one four-pound triggerfish.  A private boat caught some sea bass and one keeper trout.  A few small bluefish were caught on both trips.

Captain John Nedelka said the inshore water was dirty, but he was able to catch 60 tog with only six keepers.  He saw several big sturgeon jumping clear of the water.
