WGMD Fishing Report 12-15-18

Saturday was downright nasty with rain and wind although the temperature was mild for December.  If anyone went fishing, they love a fish much more than I.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Striper Tournament now has a second place fish with Jimmy Young’s eight pounder on the board.  He caught his fish up in New Jersey on a MOJO.

Captain Cary Evans on the Grizzly had good tog fishing on Thursday and Friday.  On Thursday he had four tog over seven to 9.75 pounds and on Friday he had two over eight pounds.  Both days produced several tog of lesser weight.

Lauren at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the No Limit had a good catch of tog on Friday up to 17.2 pounds.  The boats that went looking for rockfish did not find any.

Frank Tucker and friends had their three-man limit of rockfish on Friday.  I don’t know where they were caught, but the photo was taken close to the Outer Wall.

A couple of private boats fished the Outer Wall for tog and did not catch the first one.
