WGMD Fishing Report 3-27-19

Tuesday it was back to small craft advisories and they will be up again on Wednesday.  The weather looks much better for the end of the week.

If you have not been to Indian River Inlet yet this spring, you will find the sidewalk on the northside under the bridge is closed.  The sand has been washed away and the concrete has collapsed making for a dangerous situation.  Naturally, this is one of the more popular fishing spots.  As to when the situation will be repaired, your guess is as good as mine, but I would hope it is high on the to do list.

I spoke with Burt Adams and he said he hopes to begin running head boat trips in the next week or two.  The Judy V is in the water and ready to go.  I also called Captain John Nedelka on the Karen Sue.  He has been running tog trips all winter and will continue to do so.

The Lewestown Lady out of Fisherman’s Wharf in Lewes ran a three person charter on Monday catching some big tog.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD Fishing Report
