Wednesday saw another warm day with a bit more wind that kept boats from fishing the ocean.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that on Tuesday the Katydid came in with 30 tog including 14.3 and 10.25 pounders for Dan McGeady, Captain Brent had a 12.03 pounder and Lou Pinnella captured an 11.35-pound tog.  Jennifer and Jamie Mills checked in with three flounder measuring between 17 and 21 inches.  They caught these fish in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal on Gulp during outgoing water.  Brian Messick stopped by to weigh his 10.75-pound bluefish caught from the fishing pier on a chunk of bunker.

Dan’s Tackle told us Nick Roof two black drum on bloodworms and sand fleas from Broadkill Beach.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said on Tuesday night during incoming water rockfish were caught from the inlet.  Most were small, but one measured 44 inches.  Blues were taken on Tuesday from the North Pocket.
