Timmy Iannucci of Garnet Valley, PA caught his first fishes while out at B-buoy. He caught a 2.3lb and 19 inch flounder and a 13 1/2 inch black sea bass using Gulp baits.

Saturday was another beauty and fish were caught just about everywhere so long as you fished for what was available.

The largest fish we have heard of in a while came into Rick’s Bait and Tackle when the Wolf family, Kerry, David and Dustin, brought in their 252-pound thresher shark.  The big fish was caught at A Buoy on Friday.

At Lewes Harbour Marina Amanda told us the  Top Fin had a good catch of flounder and sea bass over ocean structure. The Snow Goose ran to the Wilmington Canyon where Dave Voorheese released his first blue marlin.  They also had two gaffer dolphin and 14 tilefish.  Jack and Ginger Henriksen went out with Ricky Mills to catch some big triggerfish on sand fleas.  Barnabas Reynolds had some big triggerfish off the Ice Breakers in Delaware Bay.

The Upper Bay out of Bowers Beach is showing improved fishing for trout and flounder according to Bob Trowbridge on the Captain’s Lady.  Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic said some flounder have been caught at Reef Site 6 and over Miah Maull Shoal on squid and minnows.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
