WGMD Fishing Report 9-24-19
Monday was a hot one with south to southwest winds and very little fishing activity. It doesn’t look like Tuesday will be much better.
Henlopen Bait and Tackle reported that on Sunday young Ryan Kleban fished Site 10 with a sand flea and caught a citation eight-pound sheepshead.
Also on Sunday, Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that Scott Sudbury had a nine-pound, four-ounce sheepshead out of Indian River Inlet on a sand flea.
Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Katydid came in on Sunday with a seven-man limit of sea bass plus a few triggerfish and two flounder from ocean structure. Larry Macks fished on the Savanah Lyn with Captain Jack Stewart to catch a citation 3.37-pound trout over bay structure.
The No Limit out of Indian River Marina came in with three swordfish on Sunday.
The Grizzly with Captain Carey Evans came in on Sunday with trout, triggerfish, blues and blowfish from bay structure.
