Thursday saw warm and breezy weather, but not enough wind to hold the bigger boats to the dock.
Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina corrected her report from Wednesday. The two porgies weighed 3.42 and 3.49 pounds and were caught by Bob Murphy on the Katydid. Captain Rick Yakimowicz had triggerfish weighing 3.75 and 4.04 pounds while Dan McGreedy had triggers tipping the scales at 4.25 and 4.20 pounds on the same trip. Helen O’Brian caught a 16-inch trigger and Steve Fisher had two smaller triggers at the Outer Wall on sand fleas. Kevin Blough, the mate on the Angler, caught a 19-inch flounder and a 15-inch triggerfish while the rest of Wednesday’s catch included kings, blues and blowfish.
On Wednesday the Grizzly fished bay structure to catch Mark Brown a 13.25-pound sheepshead and Brian Carneiro and 12.75 pounder.
