Saturday saw much better weather and fish were caught out of the ocean and bay.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said Dave Furio caught a 23.5-inch flounder on cut bait at the Old Grounds. Matthew Buzcik had a 6.3-pound sheepshead at the Ice Breakers probably on a sand flea.  The Angler brought in a mixed bag of blowfish, black drum, blues and croaker.

Dave at Lighthouse View Tackle on the pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said the spot were a no-show on Saturday, but a few more keeper flounder were caught.  Small blues are still around.

Captain John Nedelka on the Karen Sue had a great day on the ocean.  First he trolled up a limit of larger than normal blues plus a few Spanish mackerel at Fenwick Shoal.  Then he hit a few of his secret ocean structure locations for a catch of 42 sea bass, three triggerfish and one keeper tog.

Old Inlet Bait and tackle said a few tog are showing up at the inlet on green crabs.  Small blues are everywhere.
