WINTER STORM: Wicomico Regional Airport
Wicomico Regional Airport is prepared and ready for the anticipated weather event expected to impact the region between January 24 and 25, 2026.
As of Saturday morning, all airline flights scheduled for Sunday, January 25, have been canceled. As a result, no airline or rental car personnel will be present, and the terminal building will be closed on Sunday.
Snow removal operations are planned throughout the weekend for both the airfield and public areas. Passengers are encouraged to contact their airline directly regarding flight status and reservation changes. Pilots should review current Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) for the latest airfield conditions.
The airport plans to reopen the terminal for normal operations on Monday, January 26, 2026.
