Woman Stabs Ex-Boyfriend in Ellendale Domestic Incident

A 19-year-old Ellendale woman is behind bars after Police say she stabbed her ex-boyfriend in the midst of a domestic incident on Friday.

Troopers say Salena Timmons got into a verbal altercation with her ex-boyfriend, who stopped by her house to drop off their two-month-old son. It later turned physical, when Timmons retrieved a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the back right shoulder blade as he attempted to gain the grandmother’s attention through a window. A family member then called 9-1-1.

Delaware State Police arrived at the residence in the 12000 block of Piney Branch Road in Ellendale. Ellendale EMS responded but the 26-year-old male victim refused treatment. Timmons was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Course of a Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Second Degree Assault. She was committed to SCI in Georgetown on 71,000 dollars bond.
