Dover Police Arrest Dover Woman for Robbery

A Dover woman has been arrested for a robbery that occurred Saturday just after 6:30pm on White Oak Road in Dover. Police say the victim was at a bus stop when she was approached by a skinny white female who began arguing with her, then pepper sprayed the victim and stole her purse.
Police identified 45 year old Christy Guzman as the suspect and obtained warrants for her arrest. Guzman was arrested Sunday without incident and charged with 1st degree robbery and 2nd degree assault.
Guzman was committed to the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute in default of a $15,000 cash bail.
