DSP Investigating Shots Fired After Road Rage Incident in Dover

Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired complaint following a road rage incident in Dover Saturday afternoon. Police say the victim was southbound on North Dupont Highway when she drove around a slower moving pickup. While the victim was stopped at a red light at Fork Branch Road the pickup stopped on the shoulder next to her and fired a single shot striking the victim’s vehicle and then drove off. The victim was not injured.
The pickup is dark-colored and pulling a trailer with possible Delaware tags on the trailer. The driver was a white male with slim build and facial hair – he was wearing a baseball cap.
