Shots Fired at Passing Vehicle in Dover Alley

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening. Around 5:42 p.m., Dover Police responded to the area of New Castle Avenue and Kent Avenue for the report of the shots fired. Police learned that the victim was driving in the alley between New Castle Avenue and Kent Avenue when someone began shooting at her vehicle, striking her windshield. The victim was not injured during this incident. The shooter is described as a black male, about 5’8″ and possibly 16-18 years old. There are no additional leads to release at this time.
