UPDATED: Sunday Morning Millsboro Fire Under Investigation

UPDATED – 12/15/25 – According to Nicola Pizza’s Facebook page the house on Spencer Court that caught fire in Millsboro on Sunday morning was the home of a long-time Nicola kitchen employee. Everyone in the home was able to get out and are safe, but they have lost everything. The folks at Nicola are working on what can be done to help – and hope to have more information soon.聽

ORIGINAL STORY – 12/14/25 – Firefighters from Millsboro were called for a residential structure fire on Spencer Court in Millsboro just after 5:30 Sunday morning and found fire when they arrived at the scene.
Crews from several neighboring companies were called for assistance or backup. While Indian River VFC provided backup, firefighters from Millsboro, Dagsboro, Georgetown were on the scene for nearly three hours.
The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
