Shooting in Dover Leaves Three Injured on North Governors Avenue

In Dover, police say a physical altercation involving several individuals escalated when a suspect鈥攄escribed as wearing all black clothing, red shoes, and a camouflage ski mask鈥攆ired two rounds toward the group. The individual then fled westbound and was last seen running north through an alley just west of North Governors Avenue. Officers responded to South Governors Avenue around 11:15 p.m. on April 8th following multiple reports of the shots fired. The shooting left three people injured: a 57-year-old woman suffered graze wounds to her arm and chest, a 19-year-old man was shot in the lower body, and a 41-year-old man sustained a graze wound to his arm. The woman and 19-year-old were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the 41-year-old declined treatment. The investigation remains ongoing.
