Wicomico High School Counselors Recognized For Excellence in Maryland
June 3, 2026/
Wicomico High School and its school counselors have been named the 2025 School of Excellence award winner for the state of Maryland from the American College Application Campaign. Wi-Hi’s counselors are recognized for their “Maryland Post-secondary Success Campaign,” which honors schools that do an outstanding job increasing the number of graduating high school seniors with plans to pursue a post-secondary pathway- whether college, career, or military. Additionally, Wicomico High School is recognized for increasing the number of first-generation college students in Wicomico County Public Schools. Only one high school in each state is chosen. WCPS congratulates College Counselor Kory Lowe, school counselors Deb Breeding, Donyelle Cottingham, Kim Hudson, Dorsey Cook, and student advisor Scott Taylor.Ā
