Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/09/26

Monday was a lousy fishing day!
Gabriel Alfaro won the 40th Annual Delaware Youth Fishing Tournament held on Saturday, June 6th, by catching 10.1 pounds of fish out of Lum’s Pond in New Castle County. The largest fish was a 4.14-pound northern snakehead caught by Olivia Strong.
At the Akridge Scout Reservation in Kent County, Kylee Shockley was the overall winner with 8.58 pounds of fish. She also had the largest fish, a 2.5-pound largemouth bass.
In Sussex County Jaxon Betal had 9.22 pounds of fish including a 9-pound carp out of Blockhouse Pond which was also the largest fish.
