Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/04/26
Friday, we hit 103 at my house and I am not that far from the ocean and Delaware Bay.
Dan at Dan’s Tackle said croaker were caught at Broadkill Beach on bloodworms or Fishbites. Crabbing remains good in the Broadkill River.
Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid returned from ocean structure with sea bass and flounder. Private boats fished the Ice Breakers and the Outer Wall with sand fleas and green crabs to catch sheepshead. Other private boats worked the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with minnows and caught keeper flounder. Private boats that fished the canyons returned with yellowfin tuna.
Old Inlet told us the surf produced spot and kings on Fishbites between skates. Sheepshead were caught out of the Inlet on sand fleas.
