Apartment Fire Sunday in Salisbury Under Investigation

A fire that began in a bedroom at an three story apartment building on Fairground Drive in Salisbury Sunday evening is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal. The occupant says that she saw smoke coming from a bedroom. Salisbury firefighters had the blaze under control in a half hour – and report there was a smoke alarm present and activated. Damage is estimated at $27,000.
