Car Crashes in Laurel Home, Injuring One


The Laurel Fire Department tells WGMD that a car crashed into a home on June 9th.

The incident happened on Sunday afternoon in the area of tenth street, near the Laurel firehouse. Chief Jeff Hill arrived on scene, finding a single vehicle into the structure. There was fear of collapse. Personnel secured the vehicle and evaluated the structure for further damage. Tech Rescue was canceled due to the damage being contained to the porch.

One person was transported by Laurel EMS to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Units cleared the scene after the removal of the vehicle.
