UPDATED: Crash on Armory Rd near Dagsboro Injured 2

UPDATED – 4pm – Delaware State Police were called for a vehicle crash Friday morning just after 9 on Armory Road near Dagsboro. Police say a pickup truck driven by a 32 year old man from Millsboro failed to move over from the maintenance crew – all wearing yellow reflective vests. Police say 2 men in maintenance crew were struck – a 37 year old man from Millsboro and a 20 year old man from Dagsboro. Both were taken to an area hospital where they were treated and released. The driver of the pickup was not injured and is charged with inattentive driving and no insurance.

Delaware State Police are investigating a serious crash in the Dagsboro area that has closed a portion of Armory Road.

The incident occurred at about 9:12 a.m. Armory Road is currently closed in the area of Herring Wood Drive. Troopers expect the closure to last some time, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
