UPDATED: Crash on Nine Foot Road Leaves 1 Dead

UPDATED – 9am – A Seaford man is dead after a crash last night on Nine Foot Road near Gumboro.  Delaware State Police say 26 year old Jesse Hendrix was apparently speeding and lost control of his car in a gradual curve.  The car went off the road into a ditch and overturned multiple times – ending up on its roof.  Police say Hendrix was not restrained and was pronounced dead at the scene.  He was the only person in the car.

Gumboro Emergency personnel and paramedics were called to a vehicle crash Friday night on Nine Foot Road, just east of Route 30.  Officials say just before 10pm the driver of a vehicle lost control and the vehicle rolled over – one victim was trapped inside.  Delaware State Police tell WGMD one person has died after that crash.  WGMD will have more information as it becomes available.
