DART’s Daily Beach Bus Service Begins Today

DART First State begins it’s daily Beach Bus service today, serving areas such as Rehoboth Beach and the Boardwalk, Lewes, Long Neck, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, South Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Ocean City, MD, Millsboro and Georgetown. It will operate frequently from early morning to late night, 7 days a week through September 8th.

DART encourages visitors and residents to use one of their Park & Ride lots. The parking rate is 10 dollars per car per day and includes up to 4 free daily bus passes. For those catching the bus at a bus stop, one way cash fare is 2 dollars, daily passes are 4.20 dollars and weekly passes and 18 dollars, with monthly passes for 65 dollars.

DART also encourages riders to make use of the DART Transit app in which you can plan trips, view bus stops and get real time bus information.
