With the start of 2019, anyone who registers a new business in Delaware will be checked against a list of people and groups who are not allowed to do business in the U.S.  Delaware Secretary of state, Jeffrey Bullock says it’s a way to weed out bad actors who may be trying to set up shop in the first state.  A Delaware registered agent will be required to vet the identity of any potential customer seeking to form a Delaware entity such as an LLC and verify that customer’s name is not on the federal government’s blacklist.
