Delaware Mosquito Control Section Plans Insecticide Application(s)

Weather permitting; the Delaware Mosquito Control Section plans the following insecticide application(s) during the evening hours this evening, Wednesday, June 4th. The application with a truck-mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitoes will take place in and near Milford and Greenwood–also near Camden, Magnolia, Felton, Houston, and Bridgeville. All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions.

Application of Zenivex E4 (Etofenprox) with a truck-mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitoes in the following areas:

In and near Milford and Greenwood.

Near Camden, Magnolia, Felton, Houston, and Bridgeville.

For notification purposes, spraying will be done in the following spray zones: 93, 97, 98, 99, 116, 118, 119, 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 133, 134, 135, 147, 148, and 158.

All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions.  The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.
