Delaware’s Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health is offering help to patients of the doctor accused of over-prescribing medications. Dr. Gregory Villanoba had his medical license and controlled substance registration suspended last week after authorities say he over-prescribed opioids, benzos, and stimulant combinations. Officials say anyone who was being treated by Villanoba may experience withdrawals, and if they do, should seek medical help.

Patients looking for referrals can contact Dr. Villanoba’s office, local hospitals, or DSAMH’s Mobile Crisis Line for Kent and Sussex Counties at 800-345-6785.  Patients looking to access additional supportive services including detoxification, recovery support, and recovery living, can visit Help Is Here at www.helpisherede.com/Resource-Guide/Here-for-me.
