UPDATED: Delaware State Police Identify Victim in Accidental Shooting in Magnolia
UPDATED – 05/27/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 21 year old Kendrick Mason of Magnolia as the man who died in the accidental shooting last week in Magnolia.聽 The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate this incident. ORIGINAL STORY – 05/23/25 – Delaware State Police are investigating an accidental shooting that occurred Tuesday night in Magnolia that left one man dead. According to DSP, on May 20th at approximately 8:07 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a field on Walnut Shade Road near Autumn Moon Road in Magnolia for the reported incident. When troopers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound and began life saving efforts. The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, and three others, were target shooting when the victim was shot. The investigation is active and ongoing. The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate this incident.
