With tourism booming and on a steep growth curve over the past couple of decades, he notes that traffic challenges have posed a threat to the industry. However, the completion of this project is expected to ease those issues, attract more tourist dollars, and boost local businesses. Though the ribbon cutting was Tuesday this week, the issue delaying the opening of the road had to do with rain last week, and so they weren’t able to finish all the striping.
