Democratic Legislative Leaders Urge Governor Meyer to Authorize Funding to Protect SNAP Benefits

The House and Senate Democratic leaders as well as the chairs of the Joint Finance and Bond Committees are also urging Governor Matt Meyer to use his authorization of state funding to ensure SNAP benefits for Delawareans are uninterrupted in November. They have sent a letter to Governor Meyer and say they are prepared to take immediate legislative action if necessary to assist over 120,000 Delawareans who depend on SNAP to feed themselves and their families.
