A Dover City Councilman wants to make his way from City Hall to the State House. David Anderson a republican who’s been serving on the Dover City Council since 2011 says he wants to challenge Democrat Representative Sean Lynn for the 31st District, which covers areas in and around Dover. Anderson struck a chord with many at a meeting about the transgender anti-discrimination regulation last month, delivering an impassioned statement, in which he threatened to sue the state if the regulation went forward. It still might be an uphill battle for Anderson. Rep. Sean Lynn has represented the district since 2014, winning 2/3rds of the vote in 2016.
